NC C.O.P.S. Meet-and-Greet

NC COPS held a picnic meet-and-greet with our annual board meeting on Saturday, March 30, 2019. The North Carolina Justice Academy in Salemburg, NC was kind enough to host the event on their campus. New and returning survivors, as well as members of the North Carolina Justice Academy, and law enforcement gathered on a beautiful spring day to remember the fallen with a balloon release at the site of the NC Peace Officers Memorial, an Easter egg hunt for the children, and food and friendship for all. The winner of the PM9 Thin Blue Line gun from Kahr Firearms to raise money for both NC COPS and the NC State Highway Patrol Caisson Unit was announced. There were also elections for the NC COPS Board, filling the seat of Vice President is Wanda Rhyne, Secretary is April Greene, and Trustees Vanessa Lossiah and Charlotte Lossiah. We hope to hold more events like this in the future, so keep an eye on our events page and follow us on Facebook.
